The rest of the day... expected: In the mail, copies of yet another magazine, in which two of my articles take up a total of 16 pages.

No checks.

I called the company accountant. She had already left for the day.

Totaled, I have 30 magazine pages in print right now. Even at the lowest rate any of them pay, that represents a sizable sum of money. I need it. I don't have it.

No wonder I can't stop throwing up.

That is unbelievable that you have such trouble getting paid.

I hope you are feeling better soon.

Why don't get get half before you write it and half when it's done. I'm sure you'll get the money in any case. Could I borrow some of it. *batting eyelashes* :) Just kidding of course. Hope you get paid up soon, Scribbs! (((hugs)))

Hope you don't have a flu bug of some kind
I hate spending money of food only to lose it.
You know the business so my theories on getting paid wouldn't do much good.
Although some people I know back in Miami can be very persuasive.

That sucks. You obviously have the talent, yet you receive no respect. Threatening to kill them only leaves you with no future business.

That's it! I'm setting Kitty Smalls on them. Bastards.
