As mentioned in the previous entry...

...check out Ludlow, California.

I think I need to drive out there this week. It may be the "home" I'm looking for....

Be sure to post photos. It will be some time before I am able to return.

Summerwind -- I think (but am not sure) that the town of Amboy recently sold for $3 million.

If I can get out there, you may be sure I'll take photos!

And if I come back, I'll post 'em.

that's an interesting site! I'd love to explore those old places. Well, if ever my plans to permanently return come true, then maybe I will.....

Interesting place. Right there by Baghdad and Siberia.
Is the weather intolerable? Seems like these places have some possibilities. I need to see for myself I think.
Looking forawrd to more on this. Judging from the site, there may be nothing there by now, but the road still exists, so that's something.

Often, when lots of people live in some place ...or do NOT ... there are very good reasons.

With the exponentisl population growth, where people do NOT live, there are likely multiple reasons.

I ended up spending about 40 minutes on that site. It's OK, it was very entertaining.

dal -- I can't recommend that area for naked guitar players...the sunburn problem would be terrible!
