Very pretty. I didn't even TRY to photograph it.
I'm up looking at it too..Not too often you see a bloody eclipse
wow, that is a great photo Scribbs!
It is gorgeous...and you did well with your cheap- oops, inexpensive camera! smiles! Lou
coolI should have paid attention. I missed it
I was just about to sing Blue Moon. When I noticed that you photo of the moon was red. Roz
gossamer -- even with my extension lens attached, I had to blow the image WAY up.kashew -- I say! Too bloody right you don't often see a bloody eclipse....Roz -- Just drag out the word "red" so it's as long as "bluuuuuue.""Reeeeed mooooon...."
Oh man there was an eclipse?!!! Cool pic, Scribbs.Gill
Gill -- there was indeed! Too bad we can only see them at night, when we should be *yawns* sleeping.
Wow...lovely! I missed it too.
Better than my effort which was so crappy I deleted it from the camera! I live too close to the city anyway to get a good, clear shot. Too much light pollution.
kim -- For me, the eclipse was out over the ocean. Cuts the light pollution way down!
Awesome picture! I didn't even see it myself.
Ryan and Rich were in here while I was re-reading this...they say Thanks! they missed it. HOW many years till it comes back again?????
Another full-on total eclipse is some years off, I think. Partial eclipses happen more often.
I only saw it briefly while on the way to work, just before the last sliver of light disappeared. What I saw was really pretty.
Wonderful awesome photo of the red eclipse!! Good job with your digi!
