It wasn't for me then. And it definitely isn't for me now.
Usually, I appreciate having a pretty decent memory. But sometimes I wish I could erase the whole damn thing.

Funny you should mention memory, because I have so many years blocked out. I think I had a stress disorder even before Dale passed away, and I have shut those things out, too.
I dunno which is worse - losing years of your life, or enduring the memories.
Hopefully, you'll make some new ones soon.
BTW, I know a nice looking, red headed 40-something woman that works in my office. House owner, advisor, 14 year old daughter. Can I get her email addy to you? She says she's open to introductions....

Rather artful imagery in any case. It would be nice to be able to put a few things out of memory and into the trash bin.
Amen to that, John. Hard to ignore when the "this is for you" moment becomes public knowledge two years later....
