This is what a Hillman Minx looks like. In this case, a convertible that showed up unannounced in my neighborhood not long ago. Mine was a four-door sedan, and there was also a tiny two-door station wagon called the Husky.
I never took a photo of my own Minx, which was even more decrepit -- after only seven years on the planet -- than this one, which is now 47 years old.
Ugh. Just writing that last paragraph makes me feel old and decrepit.

The family that owned one of the stores in the village I grew up in had Minx four-door. Boy, that was a long time ago.
I'm not familiar with a Hillman. Now if they had made a pickup truck I'm sure they would have shown up in the Texas of my youth...haha.
Nice way to rub it in, dal.
That's a rather cute little car. Oh, and noooo, you are not old and decrepit, I'm older than you! I know...somedays we really do feel that way.
