...listening to Slim Gaillard doesn't generate any more than a smile. Over the years, his renditions of such classic tunes as Flat Foot Floogie and Ce-ment Mixer (put-ti put-ti) -- both of which he also wrote -- have never before failed to produce laughter.
But, vout as he might, Slim isn't the right medicine for what ails me now.
I need something more than a few oroonies....
Tonight is a night for the blues.

Cement mixing seems to be a recurring theme today. I hope they aren't making shoes. I you notice only one cement shoe over there I suggest calling in Lost Soles Agency. It may be a slow response time time as they've been re-deployed to Iraq.
Hopefully it will rain, both to cloak the mood in something suitable and to halt the cement issue for awhile.
The music that might work, if it weren't drowned out with machinery would be Kevin Lalaberte, all one word dot com.
I hope something breaks the dark spell soon, if ony for awhile. Relief for any amount of time can work wonders. I wish it for you.
Sometimes what I need is something by Mark-Almond. Two albums I can listen to repeatedly are: To the Heart, and Other People's Rooms. If you are not familiar with the band, I would suggest you check them out.
If that doesn't work, you can always try Spike Jones, and His City Slickers. LOL :^P
Spike Jones, dave? I'm more of a Mickey Katz fan, myself.
I'll check out the albums you suggested. I've had to put aside a number of favorites; just can't listen to 'em right now.
