Three more pics...

...inspired by a comment from my pal in the last "car show" entry:

Yes, Virginia (or Doug), there is a Mini pickup truck. In fact, there were two at the show....

It was one of three little Minis, all in a row...*

And here is my favorite modern high-performance sports car (sorry, Scott), the Ford GT. I was particularly taken with this one, which is one of very few ordered without the somewhat excessive racing stripes...

* Is "little Minis" redundant?

That pickup is HOT. Just enough space for a few 24s of beer a couple of coolers.

The Ford GT can't carry nearly as much beer.

Maybe not, dal...but the Ford can get you to where the beer is one hell of a lot faster!

I remember a "road test" where they compared how many beer balls a Ferrari could hold compared to some much larger vehicle.

Hey! Those little pick up trucks are cute! I could go bee-boppin' around town in one of those. (A red one, please!) {{hugs}}

I would love a Mini Cooper and Paul would love the little pickup. Oh well, we can dream. :)

You think I don't dream when I see some of these, Betty?

Oh i bet those "minis" are great of gas!!

But don't think I could fit all my cleaning supplies + Bail Bond supplies in one of those...

Perhaps what aught to happen is that someone marry me, allow me to be a house-wife & give up all this hard labor and simply let me do the grocery shopping in my beautiful little black "mini".

One can dream, can't they? :-)

Performance wise, you're right again, Scribbs. (Don't you EVER get tired of being right?) But to me, the Aston just screams "STYLE". And as Kelly will attest, I desperately need some "style". Haha :)

You wouldn't want me to comment, would you, l&s?

It's tempting....

We have have a 1995 F-150 with more than 145,000 miles on it that we drive around in farm territory. I love to drive that truck- I think I must be a shitkicker, huh Sally? I feel like such a big girl tooling around in it. Then I say I want a truck, but the new ones seem gross. Now I love this truck, older is better, but I like my white F150 the bestest!

I like that one too.
That's one reason it might be worth becoming wealthy.

the GT.
The mini is cool, but the Ford on the right roads...

Cute little things! I want one. Someone used to park a mini in front of my house. It looked just right.
