Don't read this...

...just look at the photo of today's sunset and move on...

Things that have happened today have made me feel mortal and -- so what else is new? -- depressed.

I am mourning the loss of a colleague who died today, and mourning the possible (likely) reaction when it's my turn to go.

Once again, I'm trying my best to spare you from the truth of my situation.

Isn't that nice of me?

Yeah, I wish **** or **** or ***** cared. But they don't. So let's just say I am feeling very cold and very alone tonight. And I am missing T., who went ahead early.

I hope he has found peace and comfort, the two things I long for.

I am sorry, Scribbs.

Maybe those three don't care; there are others who do. But that is in the future, bro. No obits for you just yet.

For sure, Scrib. Dal is right.

Accept my condolences on the loss of your colleague. I hope you can find peace and comfort...ah, BEFORE it's your turn!

Considering who doesn't care is not a good passtime. It is funny how those are the ones that get the play in the mind. Not so funny, really, I guess.
Anyway, to hell with the **** people.
Sorry about your friend.
Mortality is a double edged sword. Good to know there is an exit plan, but not good that it doesn't seem to allow for return or much notice in most cases.

God...same with me. I lost a friend this past weekend and only found out yesterday. It hits home when you begin to place yourself or others in place of the one who is gone... You know, you would be surprised how you can affect a person once they read you. You don't give yourself enough credit. Hey...Dal (uhm?????ohhhh your initals..teeheee sorry Dal) is right...some do care even if you aren't aware. Your a decent man scribbs...remember that. *hugs* LL
