Between the rain showers...

...I went for my walk. Made the whole four miles today without feeling as if someone was performing an appendectomy on me without anesthesia.

There were cats in the park, looking remarkably dry all things considered. As you can see, the big cat from several entries back is really into her sharing-the-warmth stuff, this time with a different black cat...

And I could only hope this was more comfortable than it appeared...

I felt better after the walk. But all the various scenarios I spun in my mind during the stroll turned out to be based on unreliable possibilities and were therefore discarded.

Yeah, I feel like crap.

Cats are survivors. I think their survival skills are surpassed only by rats and cockroaches, but cats are cuter and cleaner than either :-)

Cats are able to be comfortable in the damndest places and positions.

Yeah, check that cat in the cactus. I think cats have the secret to life. I wish they'd share!

lol... I wish there were somewhere around here I could go to see cats at play in a park... i LOVE that, although they do find the damndest places to curl up! I hope you feel better soon scribby, you have been down right dreary lately!

Four miles! I'll let you walk with me. I tend to stop for frequent pictures. Glad to know you are out walking though, it is one of the best things for the blues. All the best to you.

Awww, I hope it wasn't hurting him/her but I guess if it was, he/she would move. :)

Rats...cockroaches..and some people. I have been a survivor since I was 10. Wow that last kitty really looks like Fig-Dig. Fig's a survivor too, we adopted him- he was found foraging through trash for food when he was 6 weeks old. The girl who saw him brought him to our local vet ...voila! He eats breakfast with Ricardo every day...(cereal milk) and HE is now almost 10 years old. Better than trash!
I have been really sporadic lately...have you gotten a new kitty?
Think about it, if you haven't and also, I suggest the name Oscar.
I just "feel" it, Scribbs.
