The previous post was not to be taken seriously. I was simply trying to take my mind off my current situation and was trolling for smartass comments to which I could write smartass replies.
My guess is that some of you took it seriously.
Don't worry...I'm not expecting any presents, large or small, at Christmas or any other time.
The last "present" I received -- the modern Internet equivalent of the traditional "Dear John" letter -- was enough to make me never ask for anything else again.
I think I should stick to posting rants and cat photos. Or, when I feel daring, scenic photos.
For our mutual benefit, that's what I'm going to do from now on.
