I'm going to bore you...

...with more pictures of cars! Not tonight, though. I'm absolutely worn out.

Once again, I put on my blue blazer and tie and served as a judge at a car show. Aside from the heat and humidity -- which, after six hours outside, reduced me to a sodden mess -- it was a most pleasant experience. The cars on show represented a wonderful cross-section of automotive history, from the earliest days to modern classics.

After I was through Doing My Duty, which was to decide, with two other judges, which car in a particular category deserved a nifty trophy, I shot more photos than I expected. I won't post 'em all, of course, but will try to hit the highlights.

It was fun. But I'm beat right now, and not willing to spend the time cleaning up the pix for posting just yet.

I'll include one right now, of a very cool Morgan three-wheeler circa 1920, which is something one seldom sees at "high-class" car shows....

Much more to come! But I need to rest up and re-hydrate first....

One of those at speed would, using my recently coined phrase, scare the bejesus out of Jesus.

I have not seen one with three wheels that old. Cool picture. Thanks, and yes go rest up.

Looking forward to the pics. Despite the heat it, judging a car show sounds like a great way to spend the day. :)

"At speed" is perhaps a relative term, dal. I guess the Moggie's modest maximum pace would be considered "speed" by those riding in it....
