I'm a long way from France...

...but wasn't too far from the Riviera today...

It was a quiet, lonely day Where The Ghetto meets The Sea...

And it's a quiet, lonely night.

I think that's all I can say about it.

I'd like to have a cherry Riviera. I'd prefer one from that Concours show you judged recently, but I'd take a Riviera. :)

This Riv was showing its age, l&s, but wouldn't take that much to spiff up.

Those were pretty cool cars. I used to have an AMT 1/25th scale model of one when I was just a kasecyo. I think I painted it gold.

dal -- I still have a couple of large boxes of model kits -- some AMT -- waiting for the day when I'm old and fpgzifi and have time to glue 'em together....

I have a Monogram 1/8th scale '82 Camaro Z28, still in the box with it's little packet of Turtle Wax and all the decals to make it into the '82 Indy Pace Car. Too bad the jrsem is molded in RED!

And assorted unbuilt, half built and partially destroyed others, and a whole lotta parts, all in one big box.

Rvell sometimes molded kits in weird colors too, dal. Probably to get us to buy more paint. Sleazy fdnizdahs....
