Cat report...

Hobbes is home from the vet after a strenuous day of being sedated, x-rayed, poked and prodded and handled rather roughly.

He's fine...

...although from now on he will be getting a daily dose of fish oil to help keep his innards lubricated.

I should have asked the vet to give me a sedative, too. I'm no better at these things than the cat is.

He was amazingly good about it all, though, and has already forgiven me. Feeding him when we got back may have had something to do with it.

But he's home, and happy, and that's all that matters.

I am glad he is doing OK. I hate it when one of our pets gets sick.

That's a nice trunk he's got there. He looks good. Is that his steamer chest?

John -- one step up from that chest (which I picked out of a dumpster; it needed a good cleaning and new hinges) gets him to the window sill. That's why it sits where it is.

I'm glad Hobbes is ok, though his ordeal kept us from our long planned visit! boo hoo!! sniff!! :-( But I do understand the priorities. Thanks for the phone call and up-date!

Gill -- he's doing quite well. Since he's the one who has stuck with me through some awful times, I'll do whatever's necessary to keep him healthy and happy/

Poor baby. He is so cute. I am sorry he is having some troubles, but glad that they are minor and correctable! ((((hugs))))

I'm glad Hobbes is home and happy. Too bad a dose of fish oil can't fix all our ills, eh? I'd happily drink a cup of it if it was a cure all.

Heck, dal, I'd swig the stuff by the gallon if it could fix my woes....

I'm glad Hobbes's life is simpler, and that things that make him happy are within my power.

I'm so glad that Hobbes is doing good! Nothing like worrying when one of our furbabies is not up to par!
