On a lighter note...

...the windsurfers were out in force around here today, taking full advantage of good breezes and a bright, sunny day.

The lifeguards were there if needed, but all they were called upon to do was soak up some sun....

I'd rather leave you with these cheerful images tonight than dwell on the insanity of the Middle East situation and my own lonely, loveless and unsatisfying life.

UPDATE: I was playing with the first image and found it could be cropped closer than I thought without losing any quality...so I've made a substitution.

I like this camera!

These are so pretty, and are making me not want to move away from my sunny Florida. *Hugs* from Sunny :)

I haven't been to the waterfront lately. There are usually dozens and dozens of windsurfers there. Wouldn't see me on one of those yutqaym things.

Considering the water around here is full of msymamiq, dal, I wouldn't even go in it, much less windsurf on top of it.

LZ -- if you want to come out here and try it, I'll be right there, camera in hand....

That's where I belong, on a sail board away from this surreal insanity.

Beautiful pictures. Makes me feel like I've wasted my summer doing nothing. *sigh* I want out of this dry state.
