Just asking...

...if George Bush and his minions will ever understand that spreading "US-style democracy" around the world (specifically Iraq right now) is both impossible and an unmanageable drain on resources needed at home;

...if the wet-brains in Congress, would-be presidents and various and sundry pundits will ever wake up to reality and see the United Nations for the pathetic, corrupt, useless organization that it is;

...if so-called "diplomats" and "thinkers" will ever realize that it is impossible to negotiate with maniacs bent the destruction of all who don't think as they think, believe what they believe;

...if the apologists for Muslim terrorism will ever understand that Iran's president, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, is committed to the idea, as he has stated publicly and explicitly, that the final solution to the Middle East crisis "is the elimination of the Zionist regime," which is hardly the sort of thing one would expect a follower of "the religion of peace" to say.

I think I know the answers. That's why I am pessimistic about the future.
