So what's new...

...today Where The Ghetto Meets The Sea?

There's a new duck in town. Seems comfortable, too...

The seagulls and pelicans were out in droves...

I'm somewhat ornithologically challenged, but I'd be willing to bet these are red-tail hawks, something I have seen only once ever in this area...

I think we know why this "harbor" is snug...

And I enjoyed seeing this boat-loving neighbor's redecoration of his yard. The gate is very cool, though it looks somewhat flimsy...

So now I'm back at the old stand. All that fresh air and a pot of green tea (you were right, "Maryjane") helped. Can't taste or smell garlic any longer....

It's nice to see individuality in front yards, and I'm glad you got some shots of it, Scribbs.

I don't know the names of too many birds, and don't really like any of them. But pictures of them are OK :-)

dal -- Notice that all the bird photos were taken from a, well, safe distance....

Not the duck, I admit. It seemed harmless enough.

Beautiful duck. Nice shots of the hawks and gulls too. I am unfamiliar with bird fear or animosity, except when too many gather at once. I like them. They can fly.

I love that gate, he should get it reinforced though, wouldn't want the weather taking it down.

I'm glad that my suggestion worked, does that mean now you will take my advice without question?

*sends subliminal msg*
You will book a plane ticket and move to Jamaica, marry me and grow weed for the rest of your life in the Blue Mountains. We will raise 3 kids, adopt/foster 10 kids and have 2 dogs and a cat*

Loved the photos Scribby!

Holy smoke! You writers get all the good propositions. If I were you, I'd be finding a way to Jamaica.

well, at least you won't have to worry about catching a cold or the flu. Garlic is said to boost the immune system.

Are you Jamaican-bound, Scribbie???

BDJ -- An offer like Maryjane's is pretty hard to turn down, no?

I love the little blue house. I'd move in there. Do you think the owners would mind?

MrScribbler said...

Japee -- Can't imagine anyone refusing you...just in case, there are dozens of little cottages like that one around here. Minus the "Snug Harbor" sign, though.
