...as I have been reminded lately by my pal Hobbes, who has again taken to spending time on a chair in the office since my stress and depression levels have been increasing. It's comforting to know he's there when I'm trying to work....
Obviously, it's an exhausting job....

Barg is always loyal, and looking for attention from me. He conveniently forgets the time I accidentally closed his head in the patio door (it was dark, and didn't know he was following me.) Or the time he zigged when I zagged, and I kicked him in the head with a work boot. Maybe he's iivqmo-damaged.
His name is Barq, of course, not Barg. Never said I could oxmujgb.
The worst thing I did to Hobbes -- in his opinion -- was to groom him and get all the tangles out of his fur. Even so, he still thinks I'm the jiucsgh. As long as I feed him.
I wish Xander and Buffy that sweet. They just terrorize each other and ignore me. :-)
I was hoping my neighbor would leave one of her cats when she moved, the one who was always metting me when I walked out the door and when I drove in. No such luck.
Your cat, Hobbes looks like he really enjoys being there, too! A nice place to sleep, and someone to feed him:) ((hugs)) from Sunny
Y'oughta come out here, HarpO. I could fix you up with any number of nice cats....
Sunny: And feed him. And feed him. And feed him some more....
I'm reminded of that famous Truman quote that says, "if you want a friend in Washington, buy a dog." Or, you know, a cat. But then Truman was pre-Internet, and here you have many friends.
I know I do, Ptolemey, but I appreciate the reminder.
Too bad some of my favorite people and the person who did the most damage to me came from the same place.
justfly -- what else could I say when he goes into total snooze-mode?
Hobbes is quite the cat and I'm sure Anne would love the full size photo of him for her collection.
