Some people...

...send pictures of their cats to this site.

I can't.

Hobbes doesn't look like Der Führer in the least, as you can see...

He doesn't even look like Uncle Joe Stalin.

He's simply a red cat. No more, no less.

But he's here for me.

And no one else is, including the one who promised to be.

With the world going to hell in the proverbial handbasket, that may not seem terribly important to you.

But it is to me.

He reminds me of my childhood kitty, Tiger.
I had no idea (until this year) that I could learn to love a cat this much. Glad you have him.
*hugs*

Oh dear. With a little makeup extending the black skin on his nose just a little bit, my boy kitty could qualify for that web site.

Glad to see you back MS.
I don't have any great words of solace - I'm sorta in the same place as far as that goes -just glad to see you back.

I had a young girl I had talked into level2 of lifecoaching and she wanted to commit suicide on the 2nd night. But our cat Figaro bonded with her that night and it was just enough. He reached a place in her that I could not reach. I had an email from her the other day, she had read my journal and I posted about Fig in it, she remembered how he saved her!

LoveZao -- Hobbes is very good at improving my mood...except when he won't eat his food and demands more, at which times I'm ready to sell him to the circus!

I don't know what the spots are, Stacey, but I've seen other cats with them. Hobbes has been to the vet numerous times, and no one has ever been concerned about 'em.
