...and Charleston will always have more charm than can be found Where The Ghetto Meets The Sea....
A very, very talented photographer and teller-of-tales, whose work in and around Charleston is well worth going here to savor, has inspired me to watch my step a bit and look down more often as I walk in search of the elusive cement-scratchings that immortalize names, events and statements.
Sadly, I have only found one around here so far, and it's kind of a dud...

I think it's cute. Somewhere in the city of Grand Prairie, Tx on some piece of concrete close to downtown there's Leonard loves Betty drawn there for eternity. I found it years ago and now that I see this I'm going to look for it again!
Cool! Now that you have an eye for it you will find more. I have a whole album full. Soon I will have all the streets of Charleston logged. Rooftops, doors and window boxes are sooo done :)
Concrete Thoughts
Cool idea. We could start a "Concrete Lovers" blog
dal -- what an idea! We could use Slim Gaillard's "Ce-ment mixer, put-ti put-ti" as our theme song....
Well, that one more than I've found, unless you count the dog paw prints.
If I had found a dog's paw print, I would have taken a photo, you damn betcha.
Hey, I like those! Keep your eyes peeled for 'Kate', ok?
