...as I replace the words I want to say -- but can't seem to put down in any coherent manner -- with a couple of photos taken this afternoon.
First, a beautiful flower I've never seen before...
And then, a bonus Gratuitous Cat...
I'm not especially happy with the people whose actions affect my life right now.
Things definitely aren't working out the way I planned, Jim.

I really love your pics. The flower is beautiful and the cat is so cute. Maybe you could give me some picture taking lessons! :) (((hugs)))
Hey. People SUCK. :-)
But your taking some really nice photos. THat flower is amazing! I sure have never seen one like it. Looks fake, its so beautiful...
The cat is cool. Even tho I'm a dog, I still really like cats. I like their whole attitude. You know the one. Take care, hope things get better.
Woofy
People Suck?
I guess I never got that far...
I love the flowere and the little one at the bottom...is perfect!
Hmmm... getting my posts mixed up.. the little flower is in the ducky pic...
It's late...I've been sick today...pardon me, woofy...you weren't talking to me were you...
I kind of agree with woofy only I would add some...some people suck. I'm really tired today though, lol.
The center of that flower looks like a passion flower. It looks a little different though.
John -- I'm quite sure it's not a passion flower...passion flowers wilt when I get too close to them....
Maybe you're supposed to eat them or make tea.
My name is not Jim, but when does everything go perfectly as planned? I've seen it very few times. I just have to go with the flow. Do you swim against the tide?
MsPajama -- since the "flow" is carrying me toward the rocks, I have no choice but to swim against the tide...and, not being greedy, I'm not asking for everything to go right. One or two things would do.
Who's Jim?
MsPajama, harpofly and whoever else is curious: "Jim" is the invisible audience member to whom some "hip" comedians addressed their comments. I don't know where or when it started, but I've heard Dick Gregory, Lord Buckley, Lenny Bruce and Redd Foxx, among others, use "Jim" as a kind of punctuation, a full-stop at the end of a thought.
Hearing them -- and a couple of friends -- use it, "Jim" became a small part of my vocabulary years ago, and creeps into my writing here sometimes.
