I just can't do it...

...so I'll stop trying.

Instead of making continued (and ultimately deleted) attempts to explain why I feel one very small step away from total meltdown, I'll just post another cat photo taken during my walk today...

I like cats, and they seem to like me. No cat has ever betrayed my trust.

And that is all I have to say tonight. If I don't shut the hell up now, I may go off the rails completely.

Cats can be loyal friends. And I hope Monday's a better day for ya.

The rescue place found a home for our cat. Paul was in tears. We couldn't let him around the dogs so he deserved a home where he could be comfortable. We sure did get attached though. :(

likeisaid -- sorry you couldn't keep the cat, but pleased it has a home.

I couldn't imagine being without one, though I sure understand the dog problem.

Here's to better days. May the hurry up getting here.
Interesting that people don't use the term "catty" when discussing cats.
Easy to become attached.

TT, the woman I met with yesterday, has three cats, all 11 or older. They seemed to enjoy my company.

He is the sweetest little cat, MrS. Paul is not a cat person but he sure got attached to this little guy. So did I but I stayed detached as much as I could when I saw we couldn't keep him. He was only 2 months old when he walked up on our porch and curled at my feet. We couldn't leave him outside to get run over so we took him in. Never found the owners but the rescue lady assured me they're very choosy about who adopts and they'll let us know how he's doing.

Long comment but you know how much of an animal lover I am!
