Easily amused, part 54, 017...

...by the instructions I saw on a dryer at the laundromat today...

Yeah, I did what it said.

Lol, did you find any children or pets inside of that machine? LOL!

Ben -- Nope, it was empty...and I didn't need my bottom dried, either!

Lol, I saw that but I thought the check for children and pet thing was funnier!

Ben -- So did I, but since you didn't mention it, I had to!

Being 11 years older than my brother, and a mean little s__t to boot, I once put him in our clothes dryer and gave him a couple of spins. Ya think I might be the inspiration for that warning label?

I will occasionally threaten the neighbor boy with a couple minutes on air fluff.....

There are three or four down the street from me that I'd love to send for a spin....children that is.

Scribs, that was THE funniest thing I've seen recently -- THANK YOU!

There is a reason behind every stupid warning. Someone has done it all!

Joan -- Looking at the comments preceding yours, I think I see where the inspiration came from!

I don't know that I'd let Lowandslow, Yacky and Deb near a clothes drier without an armed guard!

Awww, you're just no fun!

Joan - like the kid that tried to dry his cat after bathing it by putting it into the microwave? A true classic.

They only said to check for rugrats, etc. They did not make it clear if those items ought to be there before you use the device or not. Like check to see if fuel is in the tank before you fly a plane. You may have violated policy by using it without children inside.

JohnO -- Good grief, I never thought of that! Come to think of it, a woman with two kids was doing laundry while I was...didn't see 'em around during the drying cycle....
