...inside and out...
Yeah, the sunset was dramatic today, but I'm trying not to be.
I'm just in one of those self-pitying funks where I see people who "love" me withdrawing. I guess I can say that, since they aren't reading me these days.
It's one of those things I could take to Frank Sinatra's sympathetic bartender, but doesn't work in a journal.
I also remember the version a hip musician friend came up with:
It's quarter of three
There's no one in the place
Except you and me
So stick 'em up, Joe....
There's a lot of stuff that irritates me about the way the world is going tonight. But I'm more involved in things that affect me directly.
It's damn lonely here tonight, Jim.
And that's all I have to say.

hm, I've been having similar thoughts... ahem.. hint, hint.
I miss the old JS stats where you could actually see who stopped my! Without comments, you just don't know.
Yea, I've never really been a fan of ol' blue eyes, or whatever the f Frank's nickname was.
Theres a song of his that plays on a cd loop at work... i wanta pull my hair out when i hear it... thankfully, i can't remember which song it is now...
I like the color of the sunset in the picture, but the car's headlights made me think of that old saying about the light at the end of the tunnel being a train...
Maybe it's just the mood I'm in today.
Lovely sunset though.
Maybe it's time for you to facebook.
Scribbler, I follow your writings daily, and a couple of other blogs you led me to -- I have been riding the ups and downs with you and am ever hopeful that you and your writing will prevail -- I know you have more people pulling for you than you know -- As has been said many times before by many folks, Hang in there! You are not alone.

Sometimes folks are just lurking a bit. Wow sunset!
love the sunset!
where's the cobblestones?
btw.....do you ever see that older gent anymore? the one you spoke of on JS?
Here's some evidence of me being here :-)
Love the sky blue pink. And the lyric re-write.
Ramsey -- not sure who you're talking about.
I can relate to your feelings. All the kids have left the nest, and it's just me, the dogs, and cats rattling in this big ole empty house. I very easily see myself falling into said funk. We both just need to keep kicking our own butts to get out of it. Let me know if I can help kick yours :)
Great sunset
Beautiful sunset.
You can be dramatic anytime you want with us Scribbs...we are here for you. *hugs*
